Walnut and Mahogony Chess Table

Hi there.

I'm from UK. My hubby bought me a cute mahogany and walnut chess table. The top opens up to reveal a chess table. Underneath is a little cabinet with pull down door. The back of the cabinet has some tiny holes which are visible if you look at photos. Top front face of cabinet has a design that look like pawns but could be something entirely different.

I'd love to know more anything more about it date etc. Thank you.
