Everybody I've shown this too has been stumped. I've went to a couple antique shops and was referred from there to a local museum, The Joslyn Art Museum, for further help. The woman there told me that she was unsure of it's origin, but could tell it wasn't made locally. She said that it's too heavy to have been used to carry water, but could have possibly been used to store seed. Before leaving, she asked me to come back if I ever found any more information. Again, any help is appreciated!
